Live crew tracking and faster quoting — what's actually new

We checked our feature set against what Fergus, Tradify, and NextMinute publicly advertise, closed the real gaps we found, and we'd rather tell you exactly what's new than let a features page speak vaguely for itself.

See where your crew actually is

Fergus has long marketed live GPS crew tracking as a headline feature for dispatch — knowing where your team is right now, not where they were scheduled to be. FastCrew has this too: a live map on the Schedule page showing every worker who's opted to share their location, with a one-tap "share my location" toggle from their own phone. No separate tracking app, no extra login.

Reuse your pricing, don't retype it

Tradify markets "kit bundles" — saving a group of line items as one reusable unit, so you're not rebuilding the same quote section from scratch every time. FastCrew now does this too: save a template once, and drop its items straight into any quote you're working on with one click — even a quote that already has other items on it. It adds to what's there; it doesn't wipe it out.

More on the way

We're not done. A couple of gaps we found and are actively working on: an internal team noticeboard (Fergus has one), and digital plan-takeoff import for larger estimating jobs (NextMinute has this). We'll write about both here once they ship, with the same honesty about what they do and don't do yet.

If there's a feature you use elsewhere and miss in FastCrew, tell us. That's exactly how the two above got built.
